Comedy is the jam; humor, the light at the end of the tunnel. Yet, I can't ignore the hopeful romantic (and dramatic) sensibility within me. Words to me are just dance steps. Building worlds thrills me. Anti-heroes? They're just us, armed with catchy phrases and better lighting.
Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, after receiving my BA from Columbia College Chicago, I worked in the city's Storefront Theatre scene for six years. I began to work regionally through judging and teaching at dance competitions. In 2021, I relocated to Los Angeles where I now also enjoy screenwriting as well as crafting stories for the stage.

Discovering how a show moves unlocks its story. Collaboration is key to achieving this narrative. My direction is led by movement; my dance style, rooted in jazz, demands technical prowess yet always evolves from reality. Finding the right steps for the performers on stage is akin to crafting the perfect turn of phrase.
